First Avenger

One of the nice features of the new Sketchbook Pro is that they have Copic marker brushes with all the available colors, this is my fist attempt at playing with them. I'm liking what I see so far

My return to my sketch blog

I've been away from the blog for quite awhile but I'm back and ready to share my drawings with an eager world. I just upgraded to the newest version of Autodesk Sketchbook Pro (which is awesome) and did this piece to break it in.

Nightwing

So DC comics has relaunched their entire universe with all new number one issues and everything. Amongst the rebootees is one of my perennially favorite characters, Nightwing, AKA Dick Grayson AKA the original Robin the boy wonder. They did a slight redesign on his costume which I like a lot and here is a drawing I did of it.

More Val

I posted earlier that there would be a lot of drawings of my character Val showing up on here and I am a man of my word. I did this one on a Cintiq in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro

John Carter of Mars

I'm very excited for Andrew Stanton's John Carter movie that's coming out next year. I've always been a big fan of the Edgar Rice Burroughs books and the character in general. If you haven't read them, you should before the movie comes out, they were way ahead of their time.
